at No. 5 Iowa 30, Kent State 7: Tyler Goodson ran for three scores, and the Hawkeyes won their ninth straight game. They have won 14 consecutiv­e nonconfere­nce games, the second-longest current streak in the nation.

No. 8 Cincinnati 38, at Indiana 24: Desmond Ridder threw the go-ahead touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter, then scored on a seven-yard run to help the Bearcats seal a come-from-behind victory. Jerome Ford ran for two scores and Tre Tucker scored on a 99-yard kickoff return as the Bearcats won their first road game of the season.

at No. 9 Ohio State 41, Tulsa 20: TreVeyon Henderson broke Archie Griffin’s 49-year-old freshman rushing record with 277 yards and three scores as the Buckeyes pulled away late.

at No. 12 Notre Dame 27, Purdue 13: The Irish helped coach Brian Kelly match Knute Rockne for the most victories in program history. Kyren Williams scored two long touchdowns, the second a 51-yard run with 6:05 remaining, and Avery Davis scored on a 62-yard reception. Victory No. 105 for Kelly was also the 26th straight for the Irish at home.

at No. 25 Michigan 63, Northern Illinois 10: A year ago, Michigan fans couldn’t be at the Big House as Rocky Lombardi led Michigan State to a 27-24 upset of the Wolverines. There were 106,263 of them there Saturday, and they enjoyed every minute of Lombardi’s return. Playing for his new school, Northern Illinois, Lombardi threw for 46 yards and an intercepti­on, and the Wolverines scored touchdowns on their first nine drives, eight of them on the ground.

at Rutgers 45, Delaware 13: Noah Vedral threw for two touchdowns and Isaih Pacheco ran for two more, and the Scarlet Knights are 3-0 for the first time since 2012.
