Nets win again, move back into No. 8 spot

Brook Lopez had 24 points and 11 rebounds, and the Brooklyn Nets reclaimed sole possession of eighth place in the Eastern Conference by beating the Indiana Pacers, 111-106, Tuesday in New York for their season-high fourth straight victory.

Joe Johnson scored 21 points, including five straight after the Pacers got to within three with about two minutes left, and Alan Anderson had 20 for Brooklyn, which has won six of seven. George Hill scored 28 points for Indiana, which has lost eight of 10.

San Antonio 95, at Miami 81: Kawhi Leonard scored 22 points, Tony Parker had 16 in his 1,000th NBA game, and the Spurs finished 12-3 in March, the league’s secondbest record during the month behind Golden State. Tim Duncan had 12 points and 11 rebounds for San Antonio, which stayed sixth in the West and can clinch a playoff berth Wednesday in Orlando. Goran Dragic had 19 points for the Heat, which is seventh in the East.

at Detroit 105, Atlanta 95: Andre Drummond had 22 points and 13 rebounds to power the Pistons to their fifth win in six games. The Hawks (56-19), who have clinched top seeding in the East playoffs, have dropped two of three.
