“The Day Eddie Met the Author”

Louise Borden

One day an author visits Riverside Elementary School. She comes to talk about books and writing. She takes questions, too.

Eddie has a great question: “How do you write a book with parts meant for me?” Does Eddie get the answer to his question?

I dedicate this review to all people who like authors.

“Daniel Boone: Young Hunter and Tracker” (Childhood of Famous Americans)

Augusta Stevenson

Daniel Boone became famous, but when hewas young hewas a hunter and had many experiences with the Indians (Native Americans). He is clever and brave. Through his experiences in the woods, he gains a lot of courage. I really liked the part when Daniel was able to survive in the woods for three days.

If I could be any character in history, it would be Daniel Boone because I would have to face fears and obstacles, becoming independent at school and at home.

“Sharks: Challengers of the Deep”

Mary M. Cerullo

This book is about what types of sharks there are and how they survive. Sharks live in the ocean.

In my favorite part of the book, it shows a photograph of five people standing in a Megalodon’s mouth. The book is filled with interesting details and awesome facts.
