‘Grey’ preorders pour in

- — Carolyn Kellogg

Less than 24 hours after E.L. James announced that she would publish another book in her “Fifty Shades of Grey” series, preorders put the forthcoming “Grey” atop Amazon’s bestseller list.

“Grey” will return to the story of billionaire Christian Grey, who introduces innocent Anastasia Steele to the sexual pleasures of bondage. But where the first three books in the series are told from Steele’s point of view, “Grey” will be told from the man’s point of view. It’s due out June 18.

Two other summer books available only as preorders — “Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee and “Finders Keepers” by Stephen King — were Nos. 8 and 9, respectively, on Amazon’s list.
