Mother held in death of infant

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of her 8-month-old son was found in a shed.

San Bernardino County sheriff ’s officials said Maria Torres was arrested Saturday, two days after the infant’s remains were found.

Detectives said the child probably died a year ago.

The cause of the boy’s death was not released. Torres was being held without bail.
