The 69th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth, honors the best of Broadway live tonight on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. Here are five fun facts about the awards show. 1. Bradley Cooper is pumped about his first Tony nomination—for The Elephant Man— and is flying back from London, where he’s performing the play, to be there. 2. Other first-time nominees this year include Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss and movie actress Carey Mulligan ( Far From the Madding Crowd) for their roles in The Heidi Chronicles and Skylight. 3. Youngest winner: Frankie Michaels, 11, for his role in Mame( 1966). 4. Mel Brooks’ The Producers (2001) is the most-winning show, triumphing in 12 categories including Best Musical. 5. Hugh Jackman has hosted the Tony Awards four times, as has Neil Patrick Harris. But the hostess with the mostess is Angela Lansbury, who has taken the reins five times.
