Man found dead after fire

A man was found dead early Tuesday after a fire in a row of Anaheim garages.

An Anaheim Fire Department spokesman said the blaze burned through five detached garage units. The man was in one of the units, where he was believed to have been living.

Nearby residents say the man used to build furniture in the unit where he was found. He was described as polite and friendly.

It took Anaheim and Fullerton fire departments about 20 minutes to put out the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation..
