No change in Fed rates

Los Angeles Times - - THE WEEK -

Federal Reserve policymakers downgraded their view of the economy, but indicated that they are likely to raise a key interest rate in the coming months. The short-term federal funds rate has been near zero since 2008 as part of the Fed’s effort to pull the economy out of recession. Chairwoman Janet L. Yellen said an increase is likely “later this year.”
