My Father

It is hard for a child to watch a parent struggle with a serious illness. I know because I am going through it right now. My father is ill, and each day I am inspired by his strength. When he found out he was sick, he gave me a beautiful carved statue of a father and daughter. It is special because it reminds me that he is OK.
