Vacation photos
Now that summer is here (if you’re reading this after 9:38 a.m. today), it’s time to start gathering your summer vacation photos for our What I Did on My Summer Vacation photo issue (one sample from 2014 below), set for Sept. 20. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 9. We’re looking for photos from amateurs, not professionals, shot between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Include your name, city of residence, date and place of photo and the kind of camera you used and include an email or phone number where we can reach you; we won’t print your email or phone number, but we may need to clarify information. Please limit submissions to 10 photos. You can email the photo (which may not be larger than 10MB in one file) to travel@latimes.com with “Summer Vacation Photos” in the subject line; or you can go to www.lat.ms/1SsJfb4 to find out how to submit through Flickr and Instagram.
