Governor begins cancer treatment

Gov. Larry Hogan says he has begun chemotherapy treatments for an aggressive form of cancer.

Hogan announced last week that he had been diagnosed with an advanced stage of non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The Republican governor said in a Facebook post Sunday that he had “made it through the first 24 hours of chemo.”

Hogan has pledged to continue working while undergoing treatment for the disease.
