Packers receiver Cobb is injured

The Green Bay Packers lost receiver Randall Cobb to a shoulder injury, while Philadelph­ia quarterbac­k Sam Bradford threw three touchdowns passes in the Eagles’ 39-26 exhibition win over Green Bay on Saturday night.

Bradford completed all 10 passes for 121 yards before giving way to backup Mark Sanchez.

Cobb left after landing on his right arm while trying to catch a pass near the sideline on Green Bay’s first offensive series.

He is the second Packers starting wideout to get hurt in the preseason. Jordy Nelson was lost for the season with a right knee injury last Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Kirk Cousins filled in capably for injured Robert Griffin III, throwing for 190 yards and a f luke touchdown as the Washington Redskins beat the Baltimore Ravens, 31-13. . . . Ryan Tannehill threw for 145 yards in less than a half despite working behind a makeshift offensive line, and the Miami Dolphins beat the Atlanta Falcons, 13-9. Miami center Mike Pouncey left in the first half because of a knee injury. . . . Tony Romo threw two touchdown passes as Dez Bryant again sat out for the Dallas Cowboys, who lost, 28-14, to the Minnesota Vikings. Romo, who completed one pass for minusone yard in his only series while Dallas lost its first two preseason games, was five of eight for 88 yards in his five series.

New York Jets quarterbac­k Ryan Fitzpatric­k threw two touchdown passes and Antonio Cromartie scored on a 59-yard intercepti­on return in the waning seconds of the first half in a 28-18 win over the Giants in the annual preseason game for New York bragging rights. . . . Andrew Luck threw his first touchdown pass of the preseason, helping the Indianapol­is Colts get off to a fast start in a 24-14 victory over the St. Louis Rams. Nick Foles also got his first touchdown pass, hitting Chris Givens on a 44yard play in the second quarter.... Andy Dalton sneaked in for a touchdown on Cincinnati’s opening drive, then came out of the game as a precaution with a sore neck during a 21-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. Bengals quarterbac­ks completed their first 13 passes against the Bears (2-1), who again failed to get a touchdown out of their starting offense. . . . San Francisco quarterbac­k Colin Kaepernick ran for 53 yards and passed for only 13 in the 49ers’ 19-12 loss to the Denver Broncos.
