Disparities found in core city services, analysis shows
A Times analysis of more than 1.4 million service requests since 2010 shows that Los Angeles city responses vary widely based on where you live and the type of service provided. Potholes
Pothole patching varied greatly across the city with residents in Hollywood Hills West waiting a median time of more than four weeks, compared to four and a half days in Chinatown.

Bulky items
Residents living in the harbor area and East San Fernando Valley received poorer service than other parts of the city, with a higher percentage of requests picked up after the next collection day.
