Oscar Isaac

was so great in the Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis. Will his next role involve music?

-

—Eudie P., Salt Lake City, Utah

A: Music is very much a part of Isaac’s life. But he doesn’t sing in his latest role, in the HBO miniseries Show Me a Hero, which concludes tonight. He stars as Nick Wasicsko, a young mayor of Yonkers, N.Y., who fought during the late 1980s for the desegregation of public housing, sparking a heated racial crisis. In December, Issac, 35, will appear in the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII as Rebel Alliance resistance pilot Poe Dameron.

Q: What’s the latest on Jackie Chan? Will there be another Rush Hour movie?

—Darin B., Salinas, Calif.

A: For now, Rush Hour 4 is just a rumor, but who knows? Chan, 61, loves making movies—he’s made more than 120. His latest is Dragon Blade, in theaters Sept. 4 and also available on-demand. It’s a historical action-drama about the war in 48 B.C. between the Romans and Chinese over the Silk Road. (Go to Parade. com/jackiechan to read our interview with Chan.)

Q: Who is the girl with the horse in the DirecTV commercials?

—Rich R., Miami, Fla.

A: The bikini beauty is Hannah Davis, 25, Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit cover girl for 2015 and girlfriend of retired New York Yankee Derek Jeter. A former tennis champ, she has modeled for Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s, and appeared as the DirecTV Genie. Her “Hannah and her Horse” ads replaced those “Super Creepy” and “Painfully Awkward” Rob Lowe commercials.
