at Duke 34, No. 20 Georgia Tech 20: Shaquille Powell rushed for three touchdowns and the Blue Devils dominated the Yellow Jackets. Duke’s DeVon Edwards returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score. Georgia Tech averages 377 yards rushing, but managed just 173.

No. 8 Louisiana State 34, at Syracuse 24: Leonard Fournette ran for a career-high 244 yards and two touchdowns, Tre’Davious White returned a punt 69 yards for another score and the Tigers handed the Orange its first loss despite being called for 14 penalties for 120 yards.

at North Carolina 41, Delaware 14: Mitch Trubisky came off the bench for the Tar Heels and threw four second-half touchdown passes. Trubisky completed 17 of 20 passes for 312 yards, all career-high marks.

Indiana 41, at Wake Forest 24: Nate Sudfeld threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns, and the Hoosiers improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1990.

at Boston College 17, Northern Illinois 14: Troy Flutie, the nephew of famed Eagles graduate Doug Flutie, threw a touchdown pass in his first career start and Jon Hilliman had a tiebreakin­g 21-yard scoring run.

at East Carolina 35, Virginia Tech 28: Pirates backup quarterbac­k James Summers accounted for three touchdowns, two coming on the ground as he ran for 169 yards amid rainy conditions. It was East Carolina’s first home win against the Hokies in 23 years.

at Louisville 45, Samford 3: Lamar Jackson threw one touchdown pass and ran for two more scores, finishing with 184 yards rushing, a school-record for a Cardinals quarterbac­k.

North Carolina State 63, at South Alabama 13: Matthew Dayes ran for three touchdowns, including a 77-yard sprint, for the unbeaten Wolfpack.
