at No. 6 Clemson 43, Georgia Tech 24: Wayne Gallman ran for a 66-yard touchdown on the third play from scrimmage and the Tigers went on to a decisive victory in which Deshaun Watson had touchdown throws of 29 and eight yards to tight end Jordan Leggett. Clemson held the Yellow Jackets to 71 yards rushing.

at No. 12 Florida State 29, Miami 24: Dalvin Cook’s three rushing touchdowns included a 23-yarder with 6 minutes 44 seconds remaining that helped the Seminoles triumph. The Hurricanes’ Brad Kaaya threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns.

Duke 44, at Army 3: Thomas Sirk threw for 197 yards and one touchdown, Jela Duncan and Parker Boehme each scored twice, and the Blue Devils’ defense limited the Black Knights to 113 yards rushing on 49 attempts. Duke is 11-1 in its last 12 road games.

at Pittsburgh 26, Virginia 19: Nate Peterman threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns and Qadree Ollison ran four yards for another score for the Panthers, who appeared on the verge of an early blowout but needed a late stand to preserve the victory.

Wake Forest 3, at Boston College 0: Mike Weaver kicked a 25-yard field goal after the Demon Deacons forced a turnover deep in Eagles territory in the third quarter. Boston College had a first and goal near Wake Forest’s goal line with 29 seconds left but failed to score, not long after squanderin­g another chance inside the 10.

at South Florida 45, Syracuse 24: Marlon Mack scored on bursts of 25 and 45 yards in the second half as the Bulls defeated the Orange. Mack finished with 179 rushing yards, and Quinton Flowers threw for a season-best 259 yards and two touchdowns and ran two yards for a score.
