With his 11-strikeout, no-walk outing against San Diego on Monday, St. Louis’ Mike Leake joined Bob Gibson as the only Cardinals pitchers with consecutive starts with at least 10 strikeouts and no walks . . . . In 65 career starts with the Marlins, Jose Fernandez has struck out 14 or more batters four times. In 3,685 starts made by other Marlins pitchers, they have struck 14 or more four times . . . .
