“Pretty Boy Presley” Lady Canaday

My cousin read this cancer story to me and my twin sister, K’alyn.

Presley wants to make a wig for his 4-year-old sister because she is losing her hair due to her cancer. So he starts growing his hair long.

I liked how all the girls were honest friends with Presley and didn’t tease him about his long hair.

K’alyn really liked all the colorful pictures. And she liked the ending.

We both think that this is a good book about a brother doing a good thing for his sister. Reviewed by Ky’lah and K’alyn, 8 Chapman Elementary, Gardena

Is this just a weird coincidence, or is because of the daisy and the childhood rhyme? Reviewed by Amelia, 9 Monterey Hills Elementary South Pasadena
