Leonard Fournette broke LSU's single-game rushing record on just his first eight carries, scoring three touchdowns of 59 yards or more. Fournette finished with 284 yards rushing in his first action since aggravatin­g a left ankle injury on Sept. 24.

at No. 21 Auburn 56, No. 17 Arkansas 3:

Eli Stove broke free for a 78-yard touchdown run on Auburn's first play, giving the Tigers momentum they never lost in a surprising­ly dominant victory. The Tigers held out starting running back Kerryon Johnson and still ran for 543 yards, a school record for a Southeaste­rn Conference regular season game.

at South Carolina 34, Massachuse­tts 28:

Freshman quarterbac­k Jake Bentley threw for two touchdowns and 201 yards in his first college game for the Gamecocks. The victory matched the Gamecocks’ total from their dysfunctio­nal 2015 season and was the most points they had scored this fall. South Carolina Coach Will Muschamp was expecting to redshirt Bentley this season but the team was facing mounting offensive problems.

Middle Tennessee State 51, at Missouri 45:

Brent Stockstill threw four touchdown passes and added another 70 yards rushing for the Blue Raiders. The Tigers had 629 total yards on 104 plays, its highest play total of the season. It also was the most points Missouri has ever scored in a loss.

Vanderbilt 35, Tennessee State 17:

Ralph Webb rushed for 125 yards and Khari Blasingame ran for 100 and three touchdowns for the Commodores. Kyle Shurmur completed 15 of 23 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown, giving Vanderbilt its fifth homecoming win in six years. Vanderbilt fell behind, 17-14, before the rattling off three touchdowns. .

at Kentucky 40, Mississipp­i State 38:

Austin MacGinnis kicked a season-long 51-yard field goal as time expired to help the Wildcats end a seven-game skid. MacGinnis also made field goals of 46, 32 and 32 yards but missed a 28-yard attempt in the opening series.
