Sophomore quarterbac­k Lamar Jackson accounted for four first-half touchdowns and broke a school record for TDs in a season, and the Cardinals (6-1, 4-1) intercepte­d three passes in a game they led 44-0 at halftime. Jackson passed for three touchdowns after running for a 36-yard score on the opening drive. He has 34 touchdowns with five games to play. Dave Ragone and Brian Brohm each had 33. Jackson had 359 of his 431 yards in total offense by halftime. Jeremy Smith ran for two one-yard touchdowns for Louisville.

No. 22 North Carolina 35, at Virginia 14:

Mitch Trubisky threw three touchdown passes and the Tar Heels (6-2, 4-1) limited the Cavaliers (2-5, 1-2) to one trick-play touchdown until the fourth quarter. Trubisky hit Bug Howard for 40 yards, Thomas Jackson for 10 and Austin Proehl for 46.

Syracuse 28, at Boston College 20:

Eric Dungey threw for three touchdowns, Ervin Phillips scored twice and the Orange (4-4, 2-2) sent the Eagles (3-4, 0-4) to their 12th straight ACC loss. The 50th meeting between the teams was marred by a brief fight on the Syracuse sideline between Dungey and two Boston College players.
