Quarterback Brock Osweiler was 5-2 as a starter for the Broncos before he was benched for Peyton Manning in the playoffs last season.
Indianapolis:
The Colts have scored the most points (160) in the AFC South, but they’ve also given up the most (174)in the division. Andrew Luck is 7-0 vs. the Titans.
Jacksonville:
Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson hasn’t topped 75 yards receiving this season and has just two scores. He had 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.
Kansas City:
All 10 meetings between the Chiefs and the Saints have been decided by 10 points or fewer. Kansas City hasn’t lost at home since Oct. 11, 2015.
Miami:
Jay Ajayi leads all running backs with an average of 5.7 yards per carry thanks to his 204 yard performance on 25 carries last week against the Steelers.
New England:
Tom Brady’s 196 victories are third all-time among quarterbacks. Only Brett Favre (199) and Peyton Manning (200) have more.
N.Y. Jets:
Geno Smith is expected to start at quarterback for the first start since 2014. Smith has a record of 11-18 as a starter since he entered the league in 2013.
Oakland:
Sebastian Janikowski needs nine points to pass David Akers (1,721) for 11th on NFL’s career scoring list. The Raiders haven’t won in Florida since 2008.
Pittsburgh:
Landry Jones will start at quarterback with Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out. Pittsburgh is 11-9 in games without Roethlisberger since 2001.
San Diego:
Rookie end Joey Bosa has two sacks in his first two games. Rookie tight end Hunter Henry has caught a touchdown pass in three straight games.
Tennessee:
Marcus Mariota has thrown three touchdown passes in back-to-back games. The Titans have allowed just 91 rushing yards over the last two games.
