A STEEP HIKE TO BHUTAN’S TIGER’S NEST TEMPLE

Sakkar Azizuddin and her husband, Marc, in September went on a 17-day trip to Nepal and Bhutan. They hiked to Paro Taktsang, a Buddhist temple complex in Bhutan. The temple, also called Tiger’s Nest, is 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley. The Los Angeles resident was standing on a mountainside to the left of the temple when she took the photo with her iPhone 6s. It took them a little more than three hours to1 hike up and about 2 hours to hike back down to the valley f loor.
