A four-day Ojai festival

The 71st Ojai Music Festival is underway. Composer and jazz pianist Vijay Iyer serves as music director and curator for this year’s edition, which includes works by Igor Stravinsky and L.A. Phil conductor laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen, plus the West Coast premiere of George Lewis’ “Afterword, an Opera.” Libbey Bowl, 210 S. Signal St., Ojai; other venues.
