BOSTON 95, TORONTO 94

Al Horford turned back the clock in his return from a two-game absence with a concussion.

Horford scored 21 points on eight-for-nine shooting to help the Boston Celtics hang on to beat the visiting Toronto Raptors 95-94 on Sunday for their 12th straight win.

“He’s playing young again,” teammate Terry Rozier said.

Boston was playing without Kyrie Irving after he took an inadvertent elbow to the face from teammate Aron Baynes on Friday night against Charlotte. Irving has a minor facial fracture but has not been diagnosed with a concussion as initially feared.

Rozier helped fill in for Irving with 16 points off the bench. Boston shot just 40.2% from the field.

Oklahoma City 122, Dallas 99: Paul George scored 37 points and Russell Westbrook added 27 for the Thunder, who overcame the absence of Carmelo Anthony and Steven Adams. Westbrook fueled a 26-10 run in the third quarter that broke open a tight game.

Houston 118, at Indiana 95: James Harden had 26 points and 15 assists in a Rockets rout. Houston overwhelmed the Pacers from the start, outscoring them 24-9 during the first six minutes.

at Detroit 112, Miami 103: Tobias Harris scored 25 points and Avery Bradley added 24 points for the Pistons, who won their fifth straight game. Reggie Jackson added 17 points and rookie Luke Kennard had 14 for the Pistons.
