An NBA superstar was among those making a mark in L.A. County’s luxury real estate scene in November. Other high-water deals include the sale of a Bel-Air spec mansion and an ocean-view house in Pacific Palisades.

$24 million — Bel-Air

On Bellagio Road, the home of late philanthropists John and

Marion Anderson sold to a pair of limited liability companies for $11 million less than the original asking price.

Situated beyond the East Gate of lower Bel-Air, the Mediterranean-style home features a domed entry, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in its nearly 10,200 square feet of interior space. There are hand-painted ceilings in the living room, a wood-paneled family room and separate maid’s quarters. His and hers bathrooms and an office make up the master suite.

A pool, two cabanas, a lighted tennis court, a pavilion and lawns lie within the 1.7 acres of grounds.

Richard Ehrlich and Steven Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents. Heidi Tabib of Beverly Hills Best Realty represented the buyer.

$23 million — Brentwood

A limited liability company linked to basketball star LeBron James paid $23 million for a newly built spec mansion on North Tigertail Drive. Two years ago, the same property sold as a vacant lot for $5.1 million, records show.

Sitting up from the street, with city-to-ocean views, the 15,846square-foot home is furnished with an elevator, a home theater and a chef ’s kitchen with a La Cornue range. A lower level was designed for entertaining and holds a home theater, wine cellar, cigar room and onyx-lined wet bar.

There are eight bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms as well as a spa with a steam room, sauna and massage room. Oversized glass doors open to an expansive loggia with builtin heaters. A swimming pool and spa complete the grounds.

The corporate entity is the same that was used by James two years ago to buy another home in the Brentwood area for about $21 million.

$19.25 million — Bel-Air

Reese, who died last month at 86, owned a midcentury home with her husband, producer Franklin Lett, on the site for more than 30 years. The couple sold the property in 2014 for $7.5 million, and the new home was completed this year.

The 11,805-square-foot contemporary boasts motorized walls of glass, broad picture windows and an infinity-edge swimming pool.

Two kitchens, a family room and a wine cellar make up the open-plan space that once held Reese’s indoor swimming pool. There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms including a master retreat consisting of six separate rooms.
