Montecito mudslide: In the Feb. 11 California section, a column by Steve Lopez said the Montecito mudslide occurred Jan. 11. It was Jan. 9.

Parking lots: In the Feb. 9 Section A, an article about plans to build housing on city parking lots said L.A. Councilman Gil Cedillo proposed building units on lots

in Highland Park. The plan preceded Cedillo’s election to the council in 2013.

Korean hockey: An article in some editions of the Feb. 11 Section A said the combined Korean women’s hockey team lost to Sweden. The Koreans lost to Switzerland.

Money Talk: In the Feb. 11 Business section, a photo caption with a Money Talk column said a living will would be a better option for distributing wealth than socalled transfer-on-death accounts and deeds. It should have said a living trust.
