Pacers blow big lead but hold off Wizards

Victor Oladipo scored 33 points, Bojan Bogdoanovi­c had 20 and the Indiana Pacers defeated the host Washington Wizards 98-95 on Sunday night.

Myles Turner had 12 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana, which nearly gave away a 17-point lead but never trailed.

Bradley Beal scored 22 points and had a career-high 11 assists for Washington, which has lost three games in a row for the first time this season.

The Wizards went on a 12-0 run that began late in the third quarter and stretched into the fourth to cut the deficit to 80-75 with 9 minutes 44 seconds left.

Washington got within a point before Beal missed a transition layup with Oladipo and Cory Joseph contesting to keep the score 96-95 with 19 seconds left.

at Milwaukee 118, Philadelph­ia 110:

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 34 points and the Bucks ended a skid at four games, scoring 36 points off the 76ers’ season-high 26 turnovers. Eric Bledsoe had 22 points. Dario Saric scored 25 points and Joel Embiid had 19 for the 76ers.

at Toronto 103, Charlotte 98:

DeMar DeRozan scored 19 points, Jonas Valanciuna­s had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and the Raptors won for the 11th time in their last 12 games. Toronto improved to 26-5 at Air Canada Centre, the best home record in the NBA. Kemba Walker scored 27 points for the Hornets, who are 10-21 on the road.

New Orleans 126, at Dallas 109:

Jrue Holiday scored 30 points and the Pelicans won their eighth consecutiv­e game. New Orleans has averaged 127 points during the streak. Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 points for the Mavericks, passing Elvin Hayes for eighth all time in field goals with 10,980.

at Atlanta 113, Phoenix 112:

Taurean Prince made a go-ahead three-point basket with 7.6 seconds to play and finished with 22 points, and the Hawks sent the Suns to their 22nd loss in their last 26 games. T.J. Warren had 35 points for the Suns.

at Sacramento 102, New York 99:

Skal Labissiere made a three-point basket with 1.6 seconds left and the Kings held on after blowing a 19point lead in the fourth quarter. The Knicks trailed 92-73 and appeared headed for a lopsided defeat before rallying over the final 91⁄2 minutes. Kyle O’Quinn’s two free throws tied the score 99-99 for New York before Labissiere’s winner.
