6 plant sales to get you digging
It must be spring, because the plant sales are a-blooming! You’ll find something for almost every garden in these upcoming sales that benefit nonprofits and gardening societies and foundations, whether you tend pots on your patio or have a giant vegetable garden in your backyard. SATURDAY Orange County Cactus and Succulent Society Spring Sale & Show:

Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden Spring Plant Sale:
You’ll find tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables along with herbs, salvias, scented geraniums, flowering plants and fruitless olive trees on the gift shop patio and a used book sale in the Arboretum Library. Theodore Payne Foundation’s Poppy Day Plant Sale:

South Coast Botanic Garden Spring Plant Sale: MARCH 31-APRIL 30 Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens Spring Native Plant Sale:
This annual sale is one of the garden’s biggest fundraisers.
