War criminal: In the April 8 Section A, an article about a Bosnian war criminal living in Oregon who might be stripped of her U.S. citizenshi­p said she returned to the Portland area after serving a prison sentence in Bosnia-Herzegovin­a and worked at Boston Market and Nike. She worked at Boston Market and Nike in 1997, before being extradicte­d to Bosnia-Herzegovin­a in 2012 to stand trial.

Catastroph­e bonds: In the April 8 Section A, an article about Mexico’s catastroph­e bonds quoted the National Hurricane Center’s report about Hurrricane Odile as saying a storm chaser measured Odile’s central pressure at 941.3 millibars. In fact, the report gave the reading as 943.1 millibars.

James McAlister: In the April 8 California section, the caption for a photo accompanyi­ng the obituary of James McAlister identified the former UCLA football star as the person on the left and teammate Kermit Johnson on the right. McAlister was to the right.
