Give us your best vacation shot
Speaking of photos, use your camera this weekend or any time before Labor Day and send us your best shot for our Sept. 16 “What I Did on My Summer Vacation” issue in print and online. The subject can be anything related to travel. Email your photos with the subject “Summer Vacation Photo Issue” to travel@latimes.com. (Note that photos larger than 10 MB will bounce back.)
Upload them to Flickr, or hashtag them on Instagram with #latimestravel2018 Of note:
Photos must be at least 1,600 pixels wide and 900 pixels deep and at least 200 dpi (dots per inch). Photos should be at least 1 megabyte; 10 MB is too large.
Amateurs only. If you make some of your living as a professional photographer, please do not submit.
You can’t use a photo-editing tool to take out or add elements.
Photos must have been taken from May 25 through Sept. 3. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 5. Include your name, city of residence, date and place of photo and an email address or phone number; we won’t print your email address or phone number, but we may need more information. Describe the photo and include names of subjects. What kind of camera did you use? Smartphone photos are fine.
By submitting your photos, you agree that The Times may reproduce your photos in any format.
