Israel-Gaza: In the Aug. 14 Section A, an article about the potential easing of Israel’s sanctions on the Gaza Strip said dozens of incendiary kites and balloons had been lofted into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Dozens were launched daily.
Syria looting: In the July 30 Section A, an article about looting in Syria described the government as Shiite-dominated. It is not.
Tesla board: In the Aug. 9 Business section, an article about a plan to take Tesla Inc. private misspelled Kimbal Musk’s first name as Kimball and identified him as a cousin of Chief Executive Elon Musk. He is Elon Musk’s brother.
LeBron James and
Akron: In the Aug. 13 Sports section, an article about LeBron James’ impact on his hometown of Akron, Ohio, referred to Dru Joyce II and Dru Joyce III as Dru Joyce Sr. and Dru Joyce Jr.
PGA Championship: In the Aug. 13 Sports section, an article about Brooks Koepka’s victory in the PGA Championship omitted Bobby Jones and Rory McIlroy from a list of players who have won three major championships before age 29.
