Porter is out for the season

Missouri forward Jontay Porter tore knee ligaments during a closed scrimmage with Southern Illinois and will sit out the season.

Porter made the Southeaste­rn Conference’s all-freshman team after averaging 9.9 points and 6.8 rebounds last season, and was projected as a top-10 NBA draft pick.
