Last week, “Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk was joined by series co-creator Peter Gould and executive producer Thomas Schnauz who revealed that five years after “Breaking Bad” went off the air, its universe will be alive and well with news that a feature film based on the Emmywinning drama is in the works.
But is the end of the road also in sight for its prequel series, “Better Call Saul”? Not necessarily.
In Odenkirk’s eyes, things are just starting to get good. The Season 4 finale ended with Odenkirk’s sad sack lawyer Jimmy McGill transitioning into the more criminally minded Saul Goodman that “Breaking Bad” viewers know so well. “It’s literally what these four years have been building up to,” Odenkirk said.
