The Ducks acquired right wing Adam Cracknell from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for defenseman Steven Oleksy. Cracknell, 33, played 14 games for Toronto’s American Hockey League team this season. He played in four games for the New York Rangers last season.

The Ducks also recalled defenseman Andrej Sustr and goalie Jared Coreau from the San Diego Gulls and reassigned defensemen Josh Mahura and Andy Welinski to San Diego. Ryan Miller, the Ducks’ No. 2 goalie, suffered a leg injury in Sunday’s game against the New Jersey Devils.
