At Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the one thing we never give up on is hope.

Anywhere that children are receiving care for lifethreatening cancers, heart defects, brain disorders, spinal deformities and more, you can see the impact of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the number one hospital for children in the West.

When other hospitals and caregivers run out of options, they often turn to the experts at CHLA’s main campus on Sunset Boulevard, or at one of our regional outpatient centers in Arcadia, Encino, Santa Monica, South Bay and Valencia. Families travel to CHLA from all 50 states and as many as 30 countries to receive the very best in pediatric treatments.

Children’s Hospital delivers life-saving, familycentered care to one of every 20 children in Los Angeles — that’s more than one child for every classroom. Those children benefit from the work of The Saban Research Institute of CHLA — where our scientists discover life-saving therapies that our physicians can then apply to patients at the bedside. This year CHLA joined other pioneering hospitals to deliver the most novel treatments — personalized medicine and genome sequencing to put pediatric cancers in remission; gene therapy to treat congenital blindness; and a clinical trial aiming to use a newborn’s own stem cells to care for a life-threatening heart defect.

“Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has one goal – helping and healing sick kids. We achieve this with community support,” says CHLA President and CEO Paul S. Viviano. “And with 350 programs and services just for children, we’re prepared to help children recover faster.”

Every gift counts. CHLA is our community’s safetynet hospital, providing nationally-recognized care for all children. The hospital supports its mission through the generosity of individuals and families, one gift at a time. Together, we create hope and build healthier futures for courageous kids who need your support.

One donation helps children in L.A. and around the world. Please give generously at GiveCHLA.org.
