Redick, Butler lift the new-look 76ers

J.J. Redick scored a seasonhigh 34 points, Jimmy Butler had 22 and the Philadelph­ia 76ers beat the Denver Nuggets 117-110 on Friday night with four players making their debut. Tobias Harris, who was acquired from the Clippers, had 14 points and eight rebounds in his first game for Philadelph­ia.

“You couldn’t ask for any better,” Harris said. “To play like that, get that reaction from fans, it meant a lot to me. It was awesome. Feels good to be appreciate­d.”

Milwaukee 122, at Dallas 107: Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 29 points and 17 rebounds as the Bucks rolled to their sixth straight victory. Antetokoun­mpo got the upper hand again in his second meeting with fellow European star Luka Doncic, who scored 20 points. at New Orleans 122, Minnesota 117: Anthony Davis, playing for the first time since asking to be traded, had 32 points and nine rebounds amid a mix of boos and cheers from Pelicans fans. Davis was kept on the bench in the fourth quarter despite the fact that the teams were separated by as little as one basket several times in the waning minutes. at Washington 119, Cleveland 106: Bobby Portis was a hit in his Wizards debut, scoring a game-high 30 points on 12-for-18 shooting. The Cavaliers’ Kevin Love, in his first game back after left foot surgery forced him to miss 50 games, scored four points in six minutes. at Sacramento 102, Miami: 96: Buddy Hield scored 23 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 16 for the Kings, who rallied from an 11point deficit in the fourth quarter. The Heat’s Dwyane Wade took a scary fall but returned to the game.

at Detroit 120, New York 103: The Knicks rallied from a 21-point second-quarter deficit before losing their 15th straight game. Andre Drummond had 29 points and 20 rebounds for the Pistons.

Chicago 125, at Brooklyn 106: Two days after being acquired from Washington, Otto Porter Jr. scored 18 points in a Bulls blowout. Lauri Markkanen led all players with 31 points and 18 rebounds. Caris LeVert had 11 points in his return.

Golden State 117, at Phoenix 107: Stephen Curry shook off a poor shooting performanc­e by scoring 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the Warriors beat the Suns for the 18th straight time.
