“America’s Got Talent” was the most-watched prime-time program for the fourth time in five weeks and last week’s only prime-time program to average more than 7 million viewers. “America’s Got Talent,” on NBC, averaged 9.536 million viewers to extend its streak of being the most-watched entertainment program each week an original episode has aired, according to live-plus-same-day figures released Tuesday by Nielsen. The streak dates back to at least to the summer of 2017.

CBS’ news magazine “60 Minutes” was second, averaging 6.575 million viewers.

The ABC dating series “The Bachelorette” was the only other prime-time program between July 15 and Sunday to average more than 6 million viewers, averaging 6.478 million.

“The Bachelorette” was the week’s most-watched program among viewers ages 18-49, averaging 2.171 million viewers among the group targeted by ABC, NBC and Fox and coveted by advertisers.

NBC was the outright winner in the network race for the fourth consecutive week, averaging 3.43 million viewers. It tied CBS for the first the week of June 17-23.

NBC had three of the week’s seven most-watched programs. The comedy talent competition “Bring the Funny” was fifth for the week, averaging 4.716 million viewers, 21% less than the 5.968 million average for its premiere a week earlier.

ABC was second for the second consecutive week, averaging 3.24 million viewers. CBS averaged 2.89 million viewers to finish third, a week after finishing fourth.

CBS’ potential audiences Saturday and Sunday were reduced after its ownedand-operated stations in more than a dozen markets, including Los Angeles, were removed from DirecTV and other AT&T-owned television packages when the two sides were unable to reach an agreement to allow their continued carriage.
