Fox’s “BH90210” was last week’s most-watched prime-time program among adults under 50 on broadcast television, and its 1.5 rating among the group was the highest for any network premiere this summer.

The reboot of the 19902000 Fox teen drama “Beverly Hills, 90210” averaged 1.95million viewers ages 18 to 49, the group targeted by Fox, NBC and ABC, according to live-plus-same-day figures released by Nielsen on Tuesday.

NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” was the secondmost watched broadcast prime-time program among the group between Aug. 5 and Sunday, averaging 1.88million viewers.

“BH90210” was 12th among total viewers and second in its 9-10 p.m. time slot last Wednesday behind CBS’ “Big Brother,” which averaged 3.84-million viewers.

“America’s Got Talent” was the week’s mostwatched prime-time program, averaging 9.66 million viewers, 21.1% higher than its 7.97-million average a week earlier when it aired opposite a debate among 10 candidates for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

A broadcast of the CBS news magazine “60 Minutes” with all repeat segments was the only other program to average more than 5 million viewers, averaging 6.76-million viewers to finish second for the week.

NBC was the outright winner in the network race for the seventh consecutive week after tying CBS for first the week of June 17-23, averaging 3.34-million viewers.

CBS averaged 3.01 million viewers to finish second after three consecutive thirdplace finishes.

Millions of potential CBS viewers were again able to watch the network beginning Thursday when its owned-and-operated stations in more than a dozen markets, including Los Angeles, returned to DirecTV and other AT&T-owned TV packages when the sides reached an agreement to allow resumed carriage, which had been halted July 20.
