In a small village of Dazhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, dozens of hectares of plum are in full bloom, adorning the hills and fields with snowflake-like petals.

In the village, tourists breathed in the refreshing and pleasant fragrance of plum flowers. Walking around, tourists were immersed in the romantic spring images of pure whiteness.

Meanwhile, tens of thousands hectares of rapeseed flowers enlightened the fields with a splash of dazzling yellow colors in Luoping County of southwest China's Yunnan Province on Sunday.

As the crops are in for the full-blooming stage, local agricultural departments used drones to spray pesticides in the rapeseed fields.

"Drones are a relatively effective in pest control nowadays. So far, the cost of using drones is much less than the manual prevention and control in Luoping," said Li Qinggang, deputy head, Luoping County Seed Management Station.

As the county promotes the modernization of agriculture, oilseed rape has become a pillar crop to local tourism in recent years, helping farmers boost incomes. In recent years, Luoping has been developing rural tourism and leisure sightseeing agriculture, attracting tons of tourists across the country, who would rush to visit the majestic natural landscape and bathe in the warm sunshine in March and April every year.
