Seton Hall beats No. 4 Michigan
Jared Rhoden scored 16 points, helping visiting Seton Hall rally to beat No. 4 Michigan 67-65 on Tuesday.
The Wolverines (2-1) had a chance to extend the game with eight-tenths of a second left, but Terrance Williams missed the first of two free throws.
The Pirates (3-0) trailed by 11 points early in the second half and took the lead with 1:15 left for the first time since late in the first half.
Bryce Aiken made two free throws with 32 seconds left, giving Seton Hall a 65-64 lead that it kept after Michigan’s Eli Brooks missed a short shot on the ensuing possession.
Myles Cale then made the second of two free throws, giving the visitors a two-point lead that proved to be the difference.
at No. 5 Villanova 100, Howard 81: Brandon Slater hit all four of his three-pointers and scored 23 points, Collin Gillespie scored 21 and Justin Moore had 16 to lead the Wildcats (2-1).
at No. 6 Purdue 96, Wright State 52: Trevion Williams had 20 points and 13 rebounds and Zach Edey added 18 and 12 for the Boilermakers (3-0).
at No. 7 Duke 92, Gardner-Webb 52: Paolo Banchero started for Duke two days after he was cited for aiding and abetting impaired driving, finishing with 10 points for the Blue Devils (4-0)
at No. 11 Memphis 90, St. Louis 74: Tyler Harris had 18 points and Emoni Bates scored 16 for the Tigers (3-0).

Alex Barcello scored 25 points as the Cougars (3-0) held the Ducks (2-1) to 18 first-half points in a rout.
at No. 13 Kentucky 80, Mount St. Mary’s 55: Oscar Tshiebwe had a career-high 24 points with 16 rebounds and TyTy Washington had 16 points for the Wildcats (2-1).
at No. 14 Alabama 73, South Alabama 68: Keon Ellis scored 18 points and Jahvon Quinerly made a goahead layup with less than three minutes to go for the Crimson Tide (3-0).
at No. 15 Houston 67, Virginia 47: Marcus Sasser scored 19 points and Kyler Edwards added 18 for the Cougars (3-0).
No. 18 North Carolina 94, at Charleston 83: Armando Bacot scored a career-high 24 points, tied his career best with six blocks and added 12 rebounds to lift the Tar Heels (3-0).
