Los Gatos, CA – Luxury real estate firm, The Agency, adds triple threat – broker, attorney, interior designer – Margaret Shendal to their growing Los Gatos team, where she is serving the South Bay and Silicon Valley

Margaret joins The Agency following an 11-year stint in Southeast Asia where she worked as in-house counsel for an international investment company, while maintaining a private art curation service. A veteran broker, attorney and interior designer, Margaret started her real estate career in the late-1990s in Beverly Hills buying, remodeling, designing, and selling her own properties. This personal business transformed into a consultancy in which Margaret advised select high-profile clients in their real estate acquisition and sale strategies.

Margaret was born and raised in Westchester, New York. A chance meeting at the age of 16 with a Seventeen Magazine receptionist changed the trajectory of her life. Margaret started traveling the world, became a top model and graced the covers Seventeen, Glamour, Mademoiselle, Bazaar and Vogue, to name a few. Margaret parlayed the exposure she received modeling into acting, moving to Los Angeles, joining the Screen Actors Guild and appearing in commercials, TV shows and movies.

Margaret’s eclectic career and world travels provided her with the uniquely personal and holistic approach she brings to the The Agency in Los Gatos. “There is no sale or purchase too big, or too small. I am a result driven collaborator by nature, and I take an individual approach with each of my clients to get them to their desired finish line,” says Margaret. “I am excited to use my diverse personal and professional background at The Agency to deliver an unsurpassed real estate experience to our clients.”
