Year of Wood Dragon good for real estate, according to feng shui master

Sun recently shared his predictions for 2024, the Year of the Wood Dragon, with the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors. Master Sun has shared his predictions with Silicon Valley Realtors for over 15 years.
“This is the Year of the Wood Dragon; last year was the Water Rabbit. Water and the Rabbit characteristics were not strong enough to sustain the real estate market, but wood, like a tree with branches, is a sign of limitless growth and expansion activity, can sustain the market,” said Sun.
Sun explained the Chinese zodiac is based on 12 animals and the five elements of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. These combine to form 60 zodiac animals which take turns to rule a year in a 60year cycle, and with feng shui’s Flying Stars help predict the future.
Sun noted the Dragon has its own vision with a strong sense of ownership and ability to turn things upside down. The Dragon never gives up and releases powerful energy to accomplish its vision. Previous Wood Dragon years are 1964, 1904, 1844, 1784. What happened in those years lends insight to what will happen this year.
The feng shui master said 2024 will likely bring chaos and power struggle. In 1964, the civil rights movement led to the Civil Rights
Act of 1964; Democratic President Lyndon Johnson defeated Republican Barry Goldwater; British Prime Minister Harold Wilson led the Labour Party to a narrow victory. There was America’s involvement in the Vietnam War, China acquired nuclear weapons, the battle over water between Israel and its Arab neighbors.
The U.S. real estate market will perform better this year. The economy will grow. The Fed may cut interest rates in May, July, and September. The stock market will experience a smaller gain than last year. In demand jobs will include anything in tech that involves AI, software developers, information security and data analysts, cloud developers, blockchain product managers, renewable energy specialists, chefs, fashion designers, nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, financial advisors, lawyers, operations managers, truck drivers. Middle-aged women ages 40 to 60 will have great advantage.
Health issues that have to do with the head, such as headaches, mental disorders, aneurysm, and the bone, skin, stomach, including drug/alcohol addiction, may surface.
It’s not so good news for the West Coast, including the San Francisco Bay Area, which faces feng shui’s “5 Disaster” star. With the AI boom, expect more job cuts in companies rebalancing workforces, cutting costs or moving to less expensive cities. Large earthquakes may occur in the Southeast, South, and West, from Alaska through California. Powerful storms and flooding may happen on the West Coast, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, etc. in April, August, September, October, December, and January. Other high risks include global warming, volcanic eruptions, fires, AI scams.
This year, good locations are the Southwest, North, Northwest, East. To counter bad locations in the West, add a copper bell, wind chime with six bars, or six copper coins; in the Southeast, metal décor, copper bell, metal gong, or peace lily; South and Northeast, glass of water or blue color décor; Center/middle, red color décor, turn on the lights.
Sun cautioned that “general predictions are based on ancient Chinese methodology, and should be viewed with a discriminating eye and an open mind.”more accurate predictions can be achieved by a detailed analysis of a person’s birth date, birth time, and birthplace.
“Consider getting in shape, eat healthier food, spend less time on social media, visit nature, learn a new skill, be kind, proactive, focus on your family’s interests and safety,” added Sun.
