DEMS IN POWER?

I was interested with regard to a comment in the RH Line on Saturday a week ago. The caller said we need to take this countr y back from the Democrats. I thought the Republicans were the ones in power the last few years. Someone’s a little mixed up.

CHAMBER AND POLITICS

I am very concerned about our Loveland Chamber of Commerce getting political about 2A. I was never consulted as a member, nor have many other businesses that are members of our Loveland Chamber of Commerce. I don’t think it’s right to be involved, one side or the other, on any measure or any candidates. Politics is bad for business. Taking sides is even worse.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

I’m watching the Alabamatennessee football game, and the stands got a bunch of college students, no masks and no social distancing, and yelling their lungs out. What a great idea.

WANT BETTER ROADS?

Regarding better roads in the other states: There is plenty of money in Colorado. We could easily afford good roads, and superior education, too. We could save money on vehicle repairs and shipping costs. Our kids could qualify for good-paying jobs. But we chose to put government on a star vation diet with the TABOR Amendment. So change it or quit your bellyaching.

PETS AND COLD

To the newbies in our area: Be extremely careful with your pets, your animals. Don’t leave them outside in these wintr y conditions, or you will regret it.

We had to be out by early Sunday morning and were surprised to see the main streets in Loveland attended to. Thanks, road crews.
