Election will be a turning point

- Jane Choate Loveland

“Those willing to murder the unborn should never be trusted to govern the living.” I saw this on Facebook this morning, and though much of what is posted there doesn’t bear repeating, this does:

Our countr y is at a crossroads, a turning point with this election where we have the oppor tunity, the freedom to determine what kind of countr y we will live in. Will we live in a country where murdering the most innocent of citizens is deemed all right? Or will we live in a countr y where those precious souls are protected?

The issues go beyond abortion. Will we live in a countr y where rioters are lauded and applauded and the police denigrated? Or will we live in a countr y where rioters are called what they are, thugs, and the police are respected?

Will we live in a country where the Constitution is cast aside as out of date? Or will we live in a countr y where it is upheld and treated as the inspired document it is?

Will we live in a country where entitlement is accepted, indeed, expected? Or will we live in a countr y where hard work and industr y are rewarded?

In a little over a week, we will decide what America we want to live in.
