Gardner is best choice for U.S. senator

Many of my friends and family are independentminded voters, looking at the capability and background of a candidate rather than party affiliation. This is why I am voting for Cor y Gardner. Looking back at John Hickenlooper as governor and Cory Gardner as senator, what do you recall of their job performance?

I recall Hickenlooper signed House Bill 13-1224 into law after business leaders across the state begged him to veto the bill. It devastated the manufacturing industr y in Colorado. Hundreds of people lost their jobs. When I found myself out work and with no health insurance in 2015, all Hickenlooper had in store for me was a tax penalty. During his failed presidential campaign he said he did not want to be a senator and would not be effective at it. I believe him.

Sen. Gardner has always worked effectively across the aisle with his counterpart Michael Bennet. This has been a winning combination for Colorado. Gardner has many nonpartisan achievements. He secured funding to rebuild the road through Big Thompson Canyon after the 2013 flood, and brought the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado. He got the president to sign the The Great Outdoors Act, which will keep our land and water conser vation fund in operation. Cor y Gardner is best choice for senator.
