Prepare to bid goodbye to the year’s shortest month and welcome in March by partaking in some fun events and activities for the entire family.

Check out downtown Greeley’s Freezy Daze Fest, spend an afternoon outdoors at Windsor’s Magical Forest, shop local in Loveland or take part in other events listed in this week’s edition of Go+do for Feb. 25 through March 3.

1. The town of Windsor’s annual Magical Forest event is set to take place from noon to 3 p.m. at Eastman Park South, near Seventh Street and Laku Lake Road. The popular event allows all ages the opportunit­y to exercise their creative muscles using old Christmas trees and a variety of tools and supplies. Come create a fort, a castle, a lodge or other structures while enjoying hot chocolate and meeting new people. The event is free and registrati­on is not required. 2. Join downtown Loveland for Shop Local Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Fourth Street and Lincoln. Retailers, restaurant­s, bars and more will be welcoming guests to downtown to enjoy discounts and deals while supporting local small businesses. All ages are welcome to attend the free event. 3. The Subaru Winterfest kicks off at 9 a.m. at Eldora Ski Resort, 2861 Eldora

Ski Road, 140 in Nederland. The event features music, demonstrat­ions, food and drinks and more. Bring the kids and dogs out for a fun day in the mountains. The event is free and registrati­on is not required. For more informatio­n, go to http://bit.ly/3lshdiy.

4. Join The Old Town Breweries and Distilleri­es Tour for a fun and educationa­l time about the wild history of alcohol in Fort Collins. Tours begin at 2 p.m. at Fort Collins Tours, LLC, 21 Old Town Square, Suite 139B. The tour, open to adults age 21 and older, will take participan­ts to one brewery and one distillery to learn how beer and spirits are crafted as well as purchase and enjoy sample flights at each stop. 5. Bundle up and head into downtown Greeley for the inaugural Freezy Daze Fest from noon to 5 p.m. The event will feature activities like cold yoga, country dancing and more as well as discounts and flash deals from participat­ing retailers. The free event is open to all ages and well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome to attend. Come on out and see what downtown Greeley has to offer.

6. Head on over to Boulder for the 2023 Alpaca Extravagan­za from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boulder County Fairground­s, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont.
