Outdoors cost

Man, Colorado’s a messed up place for outdoor activities and costs. I want to go fishing and I have to buy a fishing license and a habitat stamp. Now I go out to a state park. They’re going to charge me on my license plates to go to a state park. I go to a Larimer County Park, I have to pay to go there. And then they got the national park, where I have to get a pass too. So I can go to four different places in Colorado and have to pay four different fees. We should really get our act together.

Cal Thomas

Just prove to me that Cal Thomas and the My Pillow guy aren’t the same person. We don’t need Cal Thomas’s propaganda in our paper. He’s just spreading gasoline on the fire. That guy is not a reporter.

Don’t say fascism?

I haven’t seen anything in the newspaper about the CPAC convention, and when I called my representative from my district, the aide in the office told me if I used the word fascism, the conversation was over. Wake up, America.

Biden’s fault?

So two guys in Nebraska shoot a bird, and somehow that’s Biden’s fault. Seriously? You… really need to turn off the Fox channel. They lie to you.

Jan. 6 video

Remember the Qanon shaman guy from the Jan. 6 event, where he got (41 months) in prison for his activity in the Capitol that day? But now Tucker Carlson’s video shows Capitol police sort of escorting him around, showing him the building. … He got four years because he couldn’t get access to this video that showed them politely showing him around. It does beg the question, what really happened during the Jan. 6 hearings? And we all need to be looking at this video.

GOP control

Republicans are telling us how to think by banning books; telling us what our reproductive health should be, interfering with that; and then telling us what gender we should be — all of these things based on their religious views. But go ahead, tell me again that it’s the Democrats who are trying to take away our freedoms and restrict our thinking. You go ahead and tell me.

Building department

The city of Loveland building department is a major pain in the you know what. Unless you’re a multinational or international or even a national company that wants to tear down a Mimi’s restaurant and put in an In-n-out Burger, you know, come on in and we’ll help you. But if you’re not one of them, you’re going to get delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed. That needs to be fixed.
