In conjunction with the release of the 2024 Mountain West Conference football schedule Thursday, Colorado State announced its full lineup for the season, as well.

CSU’S 12-game schedule next fall includes seven at home and five on the road. The schedule includes two open weeks as well.

The Rams will open the 2024 season on the road at the University of Texas on Aug. 31 before playing three straight home games. The season opener will be only the second time the Rams and Longhorns have ever played.

Texas won the first and only meeting so far, 46-0, in 1975.

CSU will host Northern Colorado on Sept. 7, Colorado on Sept. 14 and UTEP on Sept. 21 before taking a week off. The Rams will then close out nonconference play at Oregon State on Oct. 5.

The Rams have never lost to the Bears, holding a 20-0-1 advantage in the series. The teams last met in 2016, a 47-21 win for CSU. The Rams are 22-68-2 all time against the Buffaloes after losing last year’s overtime thriller in Boulder, 43-35.

Against UTEP, the Rams hold a 25-10 advantage in the all-time series between the teams. They last played in 2013. CSU is 2-1 all-time against Oregon State with their last meeting coming in 2017.

Conference play will begin for the Rams on Oct. 12 when they host San Jose State. That game will be followed by a road game at Air Force on Oct. 19 and then a home contest against New Mexico on Oct. 26 to close out October.

In November, CSU play at Nevada on Nov. 2. After their second open week, the Rams will then host Wyoming for the annual Border War on Nov. 16.

CSU’S final two regular-season games will be at Fresno State on Nov. 23 and at home against Utah State on Nov. 30.

The schedule now moves into

its final phase as television selections are made by the league’s partners, CBS and Fox. Dates are still subject to change based on television assignments. Following television selections, kickoff times may be announced.
