Leodis Williams

Leodis “Killer” Williams, age 66, of Malvern passed away Friday, November 27 at Arbor Oaks. He was born November 4, 1954, Sparkman, the son of the late Walter and Everlene Green Williams. Leodis was of the Methodist faith. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors, son, Bryan Williams of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Brandy Williams of Texarkana, Texas; brother, Billy Williams of Princeton; sisters, Henretta Flint of Bearden, Terry Moore of Malvern, Warnette Matlock (Dennis) of Sparkman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 1:00pm at Hinson Cemetery in Sparkman.

Bruce Alan Cunningham

Bruce Alan Cunningham, age 66, of Star City passed away November 30, 2020 at his home. He was born October 19, 1954 in Malvern to A.C. and Anna Bell Williams Cunningham Jr. Bruce was retired Captain from the Army National Guard after 22 years of service and served during Operation Desert Storm, retired RN from a hospital in Dumas and had worked at Cummins and Varner Correction­al Units. Bruce was of the Baptist faith, loved his gardening, hunting, was a gun collector and beekeeping. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by brotherin-law, John Gray and mother-in-law, Margaret Hughes.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Hughes Cunningham, to whom he married on December 24, 1975; sons, Brent Cunningham of Star City and Kevin (Felicia) Cunningham of Bismarck; daughter, Melissa (Alan) Cherry of Grady; grandchild­ren, Garrett Cherry, Caden Cherry and Brennan Cherry; sisters, Karen (Gary) Butler of Malvern, Evelyn Gray and Sherry (Harley) Breshears of Hot Springs.

Visitation will be Thursday December 3, from 12:30 to 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with graveside service following at 2:30 pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Donaldson with Bro. Chase Reynolds officiatin­g. Pallbearer­s will be Gary Butler, Harley Breshears, Ricky Hughes, Dean Hughes, Kevin Cunningham, Garrett Cherry, Caden Cherry, Brennan Cherry and Alan Cherry. Honorary pallbearer­s are Jeremy Gray and Chris Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Associatio­n.

Carroll Stanley Woods

Carroll Stanley Woods, age 74, of Malvern passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020. He was born March 14, 1946, in Carthage, the son of the late James Robert and Ada Louise Brown Woods. Carroll served in the United States Army and was a deacon at Francois Missionary Baptist Church. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, J.T. Woods and Roy Woods; sisters, Sharon Gilliam, Aline Hicks, Joan Bulman, Donna Zietlow and Maxine Woods.

Survivors, wife, whom he married on June 26, 1970, Brenda Bartlett Woods; son, Chris Woods (wife, Charlotte) of Malvern; daughter, Stacey Woods Bonds (husband, Jeff) of Tucson, Arizona; brothers, Max Woods of Hobbs, New Mexico and Bobby Woods of Bauxite; sister, Winnie Lee Smithers of North Little Rock and grandchild­ren, Michael Bonds, Matthew Bonds, Jack Bonds, Bethany Woods and Hunter Woods and two great grandchild­ren, Kayden Bonds and Tyler Bonds.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 3 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 4 at 2:00pm at Francois Cemetery with Brother W.A. Dillard officiatin­g. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Jeff Bonds, Michael Bonds, Matthew Bonds, Hunter Woods and Steve Woods.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Francois Missionary Baptist Church cemetery fund.

Robert Ashley Crabb

Robert Ashley Crabb (Bobby) died Nov. 26, 2020. He was born Oct. 3 1956 in Hot Springs, Ar. He was 64 years old. He was preceded in death by his father John Crabb, mother Inez AshleyCrab­b, step daughter Layla Marshall-Johnson, and her son Kavaughn Robinson.

He was survived in life by his wife of 20 years Gale R Crabb, his ex-wife and friend Laura House, two children Haley N Crabb and Michael G Crabb, two step children Jessica James and her 3 children Jaiden, Jeremiah, and Jacob, and Shelby Cagle (and Bobby) and their child Fayth, and Layla’s w Kierra and Malik, his brother Phillip Crabb and nephews Dan and Jon Crabb, and one aunt Effie Ashley-Seward. Also many cousins and friends.

Bobby lived most of his life on his mother and fathers property which later became his. He made his living painting houses and he enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music. He will be missed more than words can say.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday December 5th at 11:00 am at Upper Antioch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to buy a 6 pack or bottle and spend some time together with the one you love telling them what they mean to you because you never know when or how much time you have left here.
