Charles Ruben Gage Cordell Boles

Charles Ruben “Chuck” Gage, age 82 of Malvern, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Arbor Oaks. He was born in Leola, Arkansas on April 24, 1938 to the late Ira Gage and Ruby Dean Ross Gage. Reared and educated in Leola, he went on to join the United States Air Force. Chuck was the owner/ operator of an auto body repair shop. He was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise.

He is survived by three children, David, Glen, and Delana; his siblings, Doris Walters Maupin ( Vernon), Ruby Lee Stewart, Joe T. Gage ( Mary), Donald W. Gage ( Donna), Duffie Bruce Gage ( Cindy), all of Malvern, and Shelia Kay Richey of Paragould; several grandchild­ren; and a host of nephews and nieces.

He was also preceded in death by his step- mother, Lenora Gage Bain; and siblings, Eula Ennis, Opal Buzan, Ira Gage, Jr., Billy Gage, and Carroll W. Gage; and a step- brother, Gary Bain.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Lono Cemetery.

Cordell Boles age 81, of Friendship, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Hot Springs. Cordell was a longtime member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired cattle and hay farmer.

Cordell was preceded in death by his parent, a granddaugh­ter, Crystal Cansler; two brothers, George “Buddy” Boles and Lloyd Boles; and one sister, Virginia Strother.

Survivors are his wife of sixty years, Frankie Strother Boles; his children, Pam Cansler and husband, Mike, Sandie Miller and husband, Kenny, Gary Boles and Darrell Boles and wife, Stephanie all of Friendship; four grandchild­ren, Blake Cansler, Heather Lee, Holly Bean and Holton Boles; seven great- grandchild­ren, Caden and Cameron Lee, Rielyn and Sutton Cansler, Gabin and Gracelyn Bean and Tatum Boles; and one sister, Shirley Hodge of Arkadelphi­a.

Graveside services will be at 11: 00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Gilchrist Cemetery with Bro. Jackson Rogers, and Bro. Vidal Martinez officiatin­g.

Ruby Catherine Romines

Ruby Catherine Romines, 95, of Malvern passed away December 4, 2020 at her home. She was born

August 28, 1925, in Newport, to Marlan Huls and Susan Columbia Ford Willis. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecost faith. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tuck Romines; sister, Thelma Cauldwell and Bessie Southerlan­d; brother, Velma Cleo Willis and son, Jessie Ray Romines.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Echols of Malvern, Nora Cauldwell of Little Rock and Joyce Williams of McCrory; grandchild­ren, Nathan and Aaron Cauldwell, Jeremy Echols, Zachariah Echols, Misty Williams, Harold Echols, Joseph Echols, Timothy Echols, Jonathan Echols, Angela Roe, Donna Mills and Susanna Biggers; great grandchild­ren, Justice Echols, Joey Andrew Echols, Hailey Mae Echols, Chris Williams, Charles Ray Williams, Andy Lee Echols and Jonathan Williams.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 12 from 4: 00- 6: 00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Sunday, December 13 at 2: 00pm at Arnold Cemetery in Swifton Arkansas with Rev. Tim Ryan officiatin­g. Pallbearer­s will be Jonathan Echols, Justice Echols, Darrell Holder, Timothy Echols, Zachariah C. Echols, Johnny Holder, Jeremy Echols and Kevin Echols. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Danny Roe, Harold Echols and Adam and Alex Harness.
